A Systematic Approach to Leadership Transcendence

I am forever indebted, and extremely grateful for each and every one of you! As a first topic, we will briefly explore the concept and importance of a leadership evolution. By definition, the term leadership evolution implies a gradual change or a form of adaptation as it relates to one’s leadership capabilities. What I find absolutely fascinating about this subject is how many self-described leaders never really begun their leadership evolution. Sure, through the act of attempting to lead or by fulfilling a role that insinuates a leadership role, a form of leadership evolution would inherently begin to take shape. However, what is missing from these types of leaders is the acknowledgment or innate understanding that leadership is a skill and requires perpetual preparation. More times than not, when a leader is asked what they are doing today to improve their leadership skills, the answer is “nothing”. Through my own innate desire to better understand the subject of leadership, in addition to a sensational appetite and curiosity on the subject, my own leadership evolution has exposed me to the shear depth, complexities, and vast subjects associated with the topic of leadership. So much so that I felt compelled to write a book on the subject. The ultimate goal of my debut book, The Hidden You and Your Leadership Evolution, is to introduce readers to a foundation of leadership knowledge that confronts reality and encourages future leaders to recognize the need for their own leadership evolution. Over the coming months, I will use this blog to further explore the various subjects found within my debut book. Additionally, through my own perpetual preparation and continued leadership evolution, I will use this blog to introduce readers to leadership subjects that I believe are worthwhile and essential to any leadership foundation.
